Undergraduate student
I am currently a third year undergraduate studying ecology and conservation at the University of Queensland. My love for the natural world flourished as I grew up beside the beach and turtle hatcheries in the small coastal town Bagara, Queensland. This among other things has driven me towards pursuing a career that helps preserve and protect the earth and all its inhabitants.
I am a volunteer in the Green Fire Science lab working alongside experienced researchers to lend a helping hand whilst gaining experience, knowledge, and communication skills. In the future, I hope to be conducting research on the movement and decline of species as the earth's climate changes, using spatial modelling to further predict outcomes. Although this would be ideal, I am open to all kinds of research in the field of ecology and conservation!
